The 5 Smith Boys!

Photobucket

Being that I am not a portrait photographer, it seemed like a massive feat to capture my 2 boys and my 3 nephews in 1 image. Between my family and my brother and sister-in-laws family, we have 5 boys...ages 8, 6, 3 1/2, 2 1/2, and almost 1.

Thanks to the antics of my sister-in-law who was able to keep Christian from running out of every single shot! LOL I also took some shots of their boys alone and my boys alone.

So here are "The Smith Boys"

Are you ready for some FOOTBALL!?!?!?!?

Okay...so it isn't the NFL...but let me tell you...midget league is a lot of fun!

My 7 year old nephew Peyton plays in a midget football league (1st and 2nd graders) for the Walton-Verona Bearcats in Kentucky. We went down for the weekend for a visit and got the chance to see his team playing. It was really fun watching these little guys playing and hearing the crowd cheering. They even have a cheerleading squad!

This is probably the best action shot I got of my nephew. (Unless you count the 3 I got of him getting run over by another kid! LOL) Peyton is the kid on the far right hand side getting the handoff from the Quarterback.

Of course, I had to throw in a couple of cute ones of Jackson, my 3 year old nephew and Christian.

Peyton looks so grown up to me in these pictures. It is just hard to believe how fast these kids grow up.

Can you see the pride from Dad?!? My brother-in-law, Aaron, is super proud of Peyton and how well he is doing in football.

I am so glad that we got to go to Peyton's game. If they make it to the Super Bowl, we may even be in town to see that game! I have a feeling that they will since at this point, they are undefeated and guaranteed a place in the playoffs. At this game, they crushed the other team. I think the final score was 26-0.

Go Bearcats!

Home Sweet Home

After a very long 12 days, we are finally back home in Akron! I had such a great time at WPPI, but I am also so happy to be home.

We flew back into Dayton on Friday night and then spent the weekend with Shan's family in Northern Kentucky. It was a lot of fun to hang out with Shan's brother Aaron, his wife (and my best friend) Ashley and their boys Peyton and Jackson. Our boys and their boys are very close in age (Peyton-6, Ian-4, Jackson-2, Christian-1) and she is expecting BOY #3 in August! Can you imagine?!?! 5 boys between us!!!! We have decided that Smith men don't make girls! LOL It was also great to hang out with Shan's Mom Vicky and his step-dad Chuck.

We had a wonderful Easter. The weather for church was cool, but sunny. Here are a couple of pictures of Ian and Christian before we went to church.

Christian made it through about 30-40 minutes of church before he got so restless that I had to take him out to the car. Ian did great in church and I was very proud of how quiet and calm he was.

Anyway...I am going to sit on my couch and enjoy the rest of my night...in my house! I love to travel, but sometimes the best part about traveling is coming home!
