For years, I have wanted to go strawberry picking and make strawberry jam, but it always seems that I am too busy in early June and I forget until it is too late. But this year, I remembered and the boys and I went strawberry picking at Boughton Farm. We picked 6 quarts of strawberries and ended up with 12 half pint jars of strawberry jam. We had a great time...even though I think Christian stepped on more than he picked! LOL
